プロフィール
約15年の英語教育経験を持ち、2017年からPJに勤務しています。
日本だけでなく、ブラジル、アメリカ、スイス、イギリスに住んだことがあり、短期間ですがフランスとイタリアにも住んだことがあります。
イギリスの大学ではコミュニケーションとメディアの学位を取得し、CELTAもそこで取得しました。
幅広い文化的背景を持ち、英語以外にもポルトガル語、ドイツ語、イタリア語、スペイン語を話すことができます。
多くの言語を学んだ経験から、初級から上級まであらゆるレベルの生徒の言語学習者の気持ちを理解することができます。
指導スタイルは、生徒が教室でより快適に過ごせるよう、とてもフレンドリーで開放的です。それらは生徒の自信を高め、英語をはなす者として成長するための最善の方法であると強く信じています。
そして、生徒がネイティブの英語に慣れるよう、ビデオや音楽など様々なメディアを教室で使用しています。IELTSのレッスンも同じような雰囲気ですが、生徒が期限内に目標を達成できるように、真剣さが一段と増しています。様々な国での生活経験を持っているため、ビジネス英語の生徒は実際のビジネスシーンに焦点を当てるだけでなく、文化的なアドバイスもすることができるユニークな能力を持っています。
Gab has nearly 15 years of experience teaching English, and has been working at PJ since 2017. As well as teaching, Gab has previously worked in the restaurant and IT industries.
As well as Japan, Gab has lived in Brazil, the USA, Switzerland, and the UK, and for a short time lived in France and Italy.
He went to university in the UK, doing a degree in Communication and Media, and got his CELTA there as well.
With an extensive cultural background, Gab speaks English and Portuguese, German, (as well as the Swiss-German dialect), Italian and Spanish. His experience learning so many languages gives Gab a great understanding of what students are feeling about their own language learning, at all levels, from Beginner to Advanced.
With a passion for cars and motorsports, Gab is an avid online sim-racer. His other passions include cooking and sci-fi, and you may sometimes find him playing the harmonica at some local music concerts with other musicians.
Gab’s teaching style is very friendly and open, helping students feel more comfortable in the classroom; he strongly believes that an open and friendly classroom is the best way to build students’ confidence and help them grow as English speakers.
Gab likes using a variety of media in the classroom, such as videos or music, for students to get used to native English. His IELTS lessons carry a similar atmosphere, but with an extra notch of seriousness to help the students achieve their goals within their deadlines. With his experience living in a wide range of countries, Gab has a unique ability to help Business English students not only to focus on real-life business situations, but also to give cultural advice as well.

好きなこと
車とモータースポーツが好きで、オンライン・シミュレーターの熱心なレーサーでもあります。また、料理とSFが好きで、地元の音楽会では他のミュージシャンと一緒にハーモニカを吹いている姿を見かけることがあります。
おもしろい話
もともとブラジル生まれだが、ガブの1歳の誕生日はイギリス、イタリアの国籍を持っており、日本は7カ国目の居住国である。
